With the geographical and temporary distance, spaces, actions, words dissolve over time. The series of «Ecritures» explores the process of repetition and variations used by XIXth century French author Chateaubriand in his series of ‘American Nights’, and takes its inspiration from the inside covers of the historical books in which they were published. The editions are assembled two by two, in an attempt to overlap time and memory.
